Native iOS and macOS development

I build native apps for the Apple ecosystem

Swift · SwiftUI · UIKit · 7+ years, 15+ apps shipped to the App Store

I help startups and product teams launch high-quality iOS and macOS apps — from first idea to release, support and App Store growth. Working remotely with teams worldwide.

What I do

Pick a format that matches your product stage

  • iOS app development

Full cycle from prototype and architecture to App Store release. SwiftUI or UIKit per requirement, clean architecture (MVVM / Clean), tests.

    • MVVM / Clean Architecture
    • App Store release
  • macOS app development

Native desktop: menu-bar utilities, productivity tools, developer tooling. SwiftUI for macOS, AppKit, sandboxing, notarization.

    • SwiftUI for macOS
    • AppKit and sandboxing
    • Notarization and Mac App Store
  • Swift and architecture consulting

1:1 sessions with your team: architecture reviews, SwiftUI vs UIKit, concurrency (Combine / async-await), modular breakdown.

    • Architecture audits

    • async/await and Combine
  • iOS code review and audit

An external fresh pair of eyes on your codebase: quality, risks, security, tech debt. Written report and a workshop with your team.

  • Performance optimization

Instruments profiling, fighting UI hitches, energy drains, binary size, cold start times — measurable improvements.

Keyword research, localized store copy, market-specific screenshots, reviews and metadata work to grow organic installs.

How we work

A transparent 4-step process

No magic — just clear phases with concrete deliverables

  1. 01

    Discovery

We discuss the goal, business constraints, success criteria. Output: a short brief and plan.

  2. 02

    Design and architecture

UX alignment, stack selection, architecture and release plan locked in.

  3. 03

    Development

1–2 week iterations with demos, transparent progress, TestFlight for beta testing.

  4. 04

    Release and support

App Review walkthrough, store assets, handover docs, ongoing updates.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

If your question isn't here, reach out — I'll reply personally

  • What kind of projects do you take on?
iOS and macOS projects from prototype to mature products. Particularly interested in health, productivity, travel, developer tooling, and UX-driven products.
  • How much does an iOS app cost?
It depends on scope: from 2–4 weeks for an MVP to multi-month product cycles. After a short discovery call I provide a transparent estimate and milestone breakdown.
  • Do you work hourly or fixed price?
Both work. For exploratory and product work, T&M is usually best; for clearly scoped deliverables, fixed price with milestones is fine.
  • Which time zones do you work in?
I'm based in UTC+3 (Moscow) and regularly work with EU and US teams. Typical overlap: 4–6 hours with EU, 3–4 hours with US East.
  • How do you handle confidentiality?
NDA signed before work starts. Code and secrets stored in secure systems. No case studies published without explicit consent.
  • Do you support apps after release?
Yes. Support formats: hot-fix only, monthly updates, or ongoing T&M development. I also take legacy iOS projects for audit and stabilization.
  • What's the best way to reach you?
Telegram @dodecaidr is fastest. Email and LinkedIn work too. I respond within 24 hours on weekdays.
