Privacy Policy — MeteoHealth

This privacy policy applies to the MeteoHealth app (hereby referred to as the "Application") for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, created by Ilya Alexandrovich Lobkov (hereby referred to as the "Service Provider"). The Application helps you track how weather and lifestyle affect your wellbeing.

Summary

  • The Application has no user accounts and no tracking.
  • Your health and wellbeing data is stored on your device and, if you enable sync, in your private iCloud database. The Service Provider has no access to it.
  • The Application contains no ads, no third-party analytics, and never sells your data.
  • All analysis and predictions run on your device.

Data the Application Processes

Depending on which features you use, the Application processes the following data that you provide or authorize:

  • Wellbeing entries: mood, symptoms, stress, notes, sleep, water, nutrition, caffeine, alcohol, medications, menstrual cycle and pregnancy data.
  • Apple Health (HealthKit) data you explicitly allow: heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), SpO₂, respiratory rate, VO₂ max, wrist temperature, sleep, workouts, cycle data, and State of Mind entries.
  • Your device's approximate location — used solely to fetch the weather forecast for your area.

Where Your Data Is Stored

All data is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, it is also stored in your private iCloud database (CloudKit), which is controlled by your Apple ID and encrypted by Apple. The Service Provider operates no servers of their own and cannot read, access, or export your data.

Apple Health (HealthKit)

The Application reads from and writes to Apple Health only with your explicit permission, which you can revoke at any time in the Health app. HealthKit data is never used for advertising or marketing, is never shared with third parties, and never leaves your device or your private iCloud, in accordance with Apple's HealthKit guidelines.

Location

Location is used exclusively to request the weather forecast. Approximate coordinates are sent to the weather data provider (OpenWeatherMap) to retrieve the forecast; they are not linked to your identity and are not stored by the Service Provider.

Camera, Microphone, and Speech Recognition

  • The camera is used for barcode scanning, food photos, and optional fingertip heart-rate measurement. During heart-rate measurement, frames are processed in memory and are never recorded or stored.
  • The microphone and speech recognition are used only for voice meal logging, at your request.

The Application uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

Analytics and Tracking

The Application contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites. The Application's privacy manifest declares no data collection for tracking purposes.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data remains yours for as long as you keep it. You can delete individual entries or all data in the Application's settings, and remove iCloud data via your device's iCloud settings. Uninstalling the Application deletes all local data. For any questions, contact the Service Provider at dodecaidr@vk.com.

Children

The Application is not directed at children under the age of 13, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page; continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-07-16.
